Students in Maharashtra are concerned about exam mode  as university exams approach. Colleges across the country have the option to take exams in  offline or online mode.

As a result, universities differ in their testing methods and students are concerned about getting decent results. Most of the curriculum is covered online, and students are now attending college in  offline mode, making it difficult for them to work on projects and assignments.

Reporting last-minute exams offline  is not the right thing to do. I'm an engineering student and we have a lot of projects, homework, assignments and internships, but now after switching classes to  offline mode, it's become so hectic for us to study and do assignments at the same time.

Some students live outside of Mumbai but attend universities affiliated with the University of Mumbai. Today, these students travel considerable distances and adequate transportation is still lacking.

We have a mini-project, a final  project, assignments and an end-of-semester exam, and we only have a month to complete them all. Many of them believe that there would be discrepancies between students in traditional and professional courses, giving them  an unfair advantage.

since the University of Mumbai has online exams for traditional courses but  offline exams for professional students. Various student associations and activists are speaking out to highlight all of these issues.

“Although the academic year took place in a hybrid mode, no one could deny the fact that learning took place primarily through an online medium. We have had several complaints from students that the teachers were the least concerned with teaching in line rather than dictating the concepts.

He said. Faisal Shaikh Vice-President, NSUI (National Students Union of India) Mumbai. "If the learning was online, why can't the exams be taken online? We say and strongly believe in Jaisi Sikhsha Waisi Pariksha," he added .Other activity“Why is there no consistency across the country? Students' concerns are legitimate and a fair decision should be made regarding the exam.

Everyone deserves the same treatment. With all students and unions raising their concerns, school leaders and institutes think offline mode is the only viable option in the current scenario.” Minu Madlani, Director of K.The Hinduja College of Commerce stated: “To be fair, I think exams should only be taken offline.

We as academics must prepare students to excel in the competitive world. When it was a time of severe pandemic, we had no choice but to take exams online. But now that the situation has improved, there is no reason why we shouldn't take exams offline and motivate students.

Pune students are also taking to social media to speak out about the injustice they have faced as the city's universities are still holding exams offline, using the hashtag #JusticeforPuneStudents.
